Chicago Condo: Park Place Tower
Building Address:
655 West Irving Park, Chicago, IL 60613Located on the northern edge of Chicago’s Lakeview East neighborhood, the Park Place Tower is one of the largest and most impressive high-rise condo buildings on Chicago’s north side. It is the largest residential building in the city outside of downtown Chicago, and it’s among the top 10 largest all-residential buildings in the city. A nice feature of living in such a large tower that’s a bit removed from the Loop and River North is that instead of being a part of that skyline, residents of Park Place have beautiful unobscured views of that skyline, in addition to having excellent waterfront views.
Surprisingly, the cost of living at such a prestigious address is actually quite reasonable, as individual condos range from about $140,000 for a studio or one-bedroom condo to nearly $300,000. In addition to the units themselves, residents of the Park Place Tower enjoy some great shared building amenities that make it seem like you’re living in a beach-side resort. And while those prices reflect that fact that the Park Place Tower is outside of Chicago’s downtown area, Lakeview has plenty to offer residents, as the building is just blocks away from Wrigley Field and Lincoln Park.
The building features an Olympic-sized swimming pool and sundeck with a hot tub and garden terrace. In addition, the building also features basketball and volleyball courts, a rec room, a fully-equipped fitness center, a large-screen movie theatre, and even a business center. Private indoor and outdoor parking spaces are available for purchase as well.
